When one thinks of San Diego they think of the beach/bay view, palm trees, and beautiful sunsets.
The Dana on Mission Bay has all of those things. I am sure that is why Julia and Nick decided to get married here. The venue was amazing. To get a better understanding, I snapchatted the wedding reception. See below.
Julia and Nick’s first dance was epic! I started off with a slow song then I jumped straight into a faster song that everyone knows so they can break out into a flash mob. It was so much fun! After their dance/flash mob was over, Julia and Nick invited everyone to come to the dance floor. At this moment it was my time to rock the party!
Julia and Nick’s dance party was really fun to DJ because they crowd was so diverse. Julia’s family is Trinidadian while Nick’s family is Indian and Caucasian. As you can guess, my DJ set reflected the various cultures in the room. I played everything from Soca to Indian to Rock to Hip Hop to Pop & Top 40. As a DJ I could ask for nothing better than a vast set of music to play out with and keep the party rocking all night long.
